smooch
I have had fencing contractor here for a couple of days putting up a new dog proof fence so the dogs when let out for a run have plenty of room to play in dam and all. There is also a new fence going up around the dog runs, where they have room to move about in when not out in the larger paddock. They had to spend most of the day locked in the runs and with 4 dogs locked in two runs conditions were a bit cramped, couldn't do much about it as Smooch got trampled by one of my cows and I thought his back was broken as he couldn't move his back legs. As Smooch had a spinal stroke a couple of years ago and was paralyzed from the shoulders back for a couple of months I probably panached and rushed him to the vet. By the time I got smooch to the vet he was standing up but a bit unsteady. The injuries were not as bad as I thought, he has cuts to his back leg, he is on antibiotics and should be fine in a few days.
*Avanti*
Poor Smooch, I hope he bounces back soon enough. The new fence should be great once it's all finished.
