Danois
There is a function on the internet called Google. It holds many more answers than DOL.

WreckitWhippet
From memory in this country it's a Kelpie or a Kelpie cross and i think it's somewhere near the 3m mark

RallyValley
Pretty sure the world record holder is a greayhound that was pretty close to 2m high (over an agility style jump) but maybe google will know.
~Shepherd~
Im sure it was a working dog, Kelpie or something. Danois, its a general dog question so why not ask? Could be of interest to others as well even if it doesn't float ya boat.
Kirislin
I would've thought keplie. I know there was a bloke who used to cross whippets with kelpie purely to train for dog high jumps. dont know if they were better than the kelpies though, and of course you asked what breed and thats a x breed so doesn't count. wuffles
I have seen videos of bearded collies jumping extraordinarily high, and nearly all beardie references mention the ability. It was one of the reasons we crossed them off our list...
Longcoat
The highest jumpers I have seen are Belgian Malinois..........don't know where the breed would rate amoungst others though???
Scarlet
Ages ago I saw a TV show about pit bulls in the USA at a competition. The were showing their strength etc. Then they jumped at a ball or something against a wall. They were jumping incredibly high. Reallyamazing. mersonmalinois
There is also a Malinois named Brox here in the USA who competes in the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge events. He holds the "world record" in extreme vertical (running, jumping up forward to grab a bar and landing in water), I think somewhere around 8+ feet. I'll see if I can find the video. This is a video of another Malinois, Puma, doing extreme vertical. Edited January 26, 2010 by mersonmalinois

RallyValley
the Guinness World Record for "highest jump by a dog" went to a Greyhound named "Soaring Cindy". Cindy, a 5-year-old, 60-pound pooch from Miami, cleared 5'-8" (173 cm) on her first attempt, winning her the honor at the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge national finals. http://dogsinthenews.com/stories/061008a.php The record for the worlds clumsiest dog also goes to labs.
