To think, he twisted the hea do the kitten, and only gets jailed for just under 2 and a half years, and is not allowed to own a pet for 5 years... he should never be allowed near an animal. And as for the jail time... :p Terrible, terrible man... Poor kitten, it didn't deserve to have its life ended so early and in such a horrid way. How disgusting are some people? Imagine what he'd do to his ex-girlfriends' children if they had any? Or would that be different because they're people?
