Mad about Oscar
Now try it with a cat!!!!! :) Or, disregard all the former and just ask your Vet to demonstrate. What takes 3 mins to explain here takes 3 seconds to learn if someone like your Vet shows you. (I'm surprised you weren't shown at the time of the consultation.) :p Our dog sat perfectly still for the vet while she put in the ointment. When we tried it at home it was a completely different matter... The vet did not show me, but thank you the explanations are great - he is a little bit big for me to hold his collar and eye lid with one hand (he is 28kgs big and I am little!!) but along the same lines I have held him from behind, had a bit of hit and miss with the first couple but getting better slowly - he loves the treat (typical lab) so if he can see the treat on the table he tends to focus on that and sit still :p
