slk
Sorry if this has been asked and if anyone can point me in the direction of a thread, I would be greatly appreciative. We are looking for a fully fenced, gated park for Max to enjoy some off lead time. We are happy to drive. We are in Rowville, if that helps. Cheers Sara

slk
Lovely - that's not too far. I'm assuming that if there is no training happening then the general public can use the park?

Absolutely, the club trains on Saturdays btw 11 and 4 (although does not resume until 1st sat in Feb) and Wednesday evenings after 7 during daylight savings. All other hours they are free for anyone to use.

Purpley
http://www.vca.org.au/Content.asp?ID=177 If you look at the sign - it says 'members'. If you are not a member I don't think you are covered by insurance etc. Edited January 24, 2010 by Isiss
Dfa Dog
There's Princes Park in Caulfield that has two fully enclosed off leash ovals. People are generally friendly and I have yet to meet an unsocialised dog there. Only thing is it is also used for cricket during summer, so some nights there is cricket training on one of the ovals. Except for Saturdays, there's always at least one oval available for dogs. Also there's a great track around the perimeter of the reserve which is good for lead training.
