Bellatrix
Sorry if this is not in the right area but one of my dogs has started chewing her own ears.. and now she has started to chew my other dogs ears to the point of actually chewing off a couple of inches! (the furry bits down the bottom) I use a snood at meal times (except when feeding kibble) but im thinking to have it on for kibble now just incase the kibble smell is on their ears... I have put some citronella oil on their ears to deter her from chewing but caught her nibbling on my other girls ears tonight, again.. Being cavaliers, their ears look pretty tempting to chew on! Has anyone experienced this, if so what did you do/try to discourage this behaviour? Its only been going on for a couple of days so its only a new habit..... Thanks in advance!
