Nekhbet
I know greyhounds have injections to prevent them coming into season I have a special case that needs to NOT come into season but cannot be desexed as yet. Could someone give me some options that they have not seen produce adverse behavioral effects! Thanks!
Staff'n'Toller
Suprelorin can cause a spontaneous oestrus on injection so you probably don't want to go there... Sorry I only know of ovarid tabs.

emilee
Nandoral tablets (vet prescribed) must be given starting a few weeks before the bitch comes in season. Some bitches can overide the tablets. Side effects are few and because it is a daily tablet if there are any side effects (slight increase in aggression (bitchiness lol)is one) then the tablets are stopped and the side effects cease. New Age Outlaw
Laurabolin injections fortnightly should suppress season in most bitches. I have used this on a bitch I had quite a few years ago. It can affect future seasons/fertility so no good to use on a bitch you might want to breed with in the future, but if she is going to be desexed anyway maybe that isn't an issue? Nekhbet
No it wont be an issue We dont care about fertility, she will never be bred. Aggressive side effects is what we are trying to avoid if possible will give the options, thanks
D & D
Covinan(sp?) is another one. First injection delays season by about 3 months, second, I think 4, then future ones, 5. I haven't seen any side effects, but I only know of two dogs who have had it. Good luck
