Michelleva
Nicola, we already had holidays booked for just after Easter, so the breeder is looking after her until we get back, which is April 17. We're seeing her again on Easter Sunday and can't wait. Today I've been cleaning up the backyard and working on puppy proofing everything. Oh your BC sounds beautiful, do you have a photo? I do love the name Oreo.
nicolatu
Sorry I can't pose a photo yet because our Internet is not connected yet. I am on my iPhone. I will pose it up as soon as I get my Internet. He looks naughty and that is what we love! Haha! What do you guys going to feed your puppy? Our breeder is feeding her dogs and puppies Coprice. We looked at it and it seems pretty good and very cheap compared to other kibbles. Does anyone know is it good?
jess live die
Thank you everyone,Some bad news, my oldest daughter, who was 11 weeks pregnant started to hemorrhage I took her to the hospital and she was rushed into theatre for a D&C. She lost consciousness while in the A&E room through loss of blood and her BP dropped.....OMG I was so scared I was going to lose her too....and the blood it was everywhere. I had to leave her when she went into theatre, but she was looking and doing so much better after 3 bags of fluids, and they will give her a blood transfusion as well. I will ring in a little while to see how she is.....I never want to go through that again. It was horrifying....it kinda leaves everything in a void....I guess I am still in shock after watching it all unfold before my eyes. Golden Girl ~ I'll let you know where I got my Wubba from in the morning. Ok gotta go. BF omg im so sorry bout ur daughter hugs

Michelleva
Nicola, I'm not sure what our pup will be fed yet. The breeder is going to supply some food for the first few days and we'll take it from there. I'd recommend keeping on the same food, so he doesn't get an upset tummy. Any changes need to be made gradually.

Simply Grand
Bluefairy, so sorry to hear about your daughter. I hope the surgery went ok and she is doing better today Have been feeling a little guilty so far this week - I accidentally poked him in the eye last night and felt so, so awful about it, Niques, I'm glad I'm not the only one! On Sunday I managed to accidently hit Saxon in the face with the clip on his lead, then a bit later hit him in the head with my leg I felt like such a bad mum, but he didn't seem to care, just looked surprised for a second then carried on as usual ;) Yay congrats BF!!!I've been looking at lots of puppy toys too, I love those Kong wubba toys, but they seem so expensive, even on ebay - what's a good price for one and where? My local Coles has them for $15, they didn't have a pink one otherwise I would have picked one up. The prices on ebay once you add postage are more than that. I got my Kong Wubba on sale at Coles for $5. It wasn't the fluffy puppy one though, but the dark blue canvassy material one. Saxon had it from when he was a baby though and has always loved it. Keep an eye out! I am using the school's computer now so I am able to upload photos. Check out my puppy.Nicola Nicola, he is toooo cute! He does have a naughty little face, but looks so happy! Bluefairy
I'm back, Thank you everyone. My daughter ended up having to have a blood transfusion today as her Hemoglobin was 67.....not sure whats its supposed to be. They said if she didn't have it the dizziness and falling over would continue for 2-3 weeks until her blood count rose.....she is feeling a lot better though and isn't in much pain anymore. She is expected home later this afternoon or tomorrow. She scared the hell out of me, I kept thinking no one could lose that much blood and still live.....I told her she is only ever allowed to scare me once like that in my life time. She has now done that and is not allowed to do it again Nicola~ Your BC is gorgeous, so fluffy and I love the name Oreo. Lauren ~ I got my Wubba at an online pet store. Oz Pet Shop http://www.ozpetshop.com.au/product_info.p...roducts_id/1702 I bought this with my Rogz collar and lead. I have bought lots of things from there, as we don't have shops here that sell these, if we want them its a trip into town or wait and do a big shop in the city. Its just easier by post. Niques ~ Don't feel guilty we have all done something similar. I remember the other month, I was walking out the laundry and the cat was crossing my path at the exact same time and I ended up hitting her with my leg and she slid across the floor. Thank heavens it was lino and slippery. She wasn't hurt but that scared me, but the cat still does it. I bought a wire play pen for Zoe (must remember to use her name not pup), it is 8 panels big, which is quite large, I set it up in the lounge and I put it up around the cat, she was trying to grab the panels as they moved each time I fixed another one on. I got it from GO-LO they are $45 today, and on sale tomorrow for $40. It is very sturdy, and great for a puppy. Luckily Pugs aren't that great a jumper, so it might last a while. I wanted it to take with us if we travel, just so I can put Zoe in it if we are outside, saves her having to be on a leash. As for food. My breeder uses Eagle Pack Puppy Biscuits.....which I can't get here, I searched everywhere today. So I will buy a bag when we pick her up and slowly change her over to Super Coat Puppy, as this is the best dog food I can get here. I hate Chum and Pal. Even our cat loves Super Coat for cats. She's fussy so it must be good I still haven't puppy proofed my house.....I haven't done much of anything, because of my Daughter, but now she is better I can go back to what I was doing....clock watching and stressing that everything is ok..... nicolatu
Hi Saxon, My OH just loves naughty dogs that's why we get this boy. She has 2 toy poodles back in Macau with her parents and one of them is really naughty. But we love him to bits. This little BC we getting is going to be so spoilt. We just got a pet loo and crate from DealsDirect and a soft soccer ball from target. Will be looking to get his kibbles, treats, kong, lead, collar and more squeaky toys when we go to PetStock Supplies in the weekend. Hi BF, great to hear your baby is all right! Lily123
Congratulations to all the new puppy parents - there sure are some cuties! BF - so very sorry to hear of your daughter's loss. My condolences to your family. Congratulations on your wonderful puggy news - Zoe is probably my favourite girl's name!! It's funny how things turn out sometimes, isn't it? I can't wait to see pics. Michelleva
Hey Nicola, Your little Oreo is absolutely gorgeous. I know his name is not confirmed but after seeing him, the name suits him so well. Well, its official, my breeder thinks I'm nuts. I've been emailing her about things I need to get for Georgia, she's very gently reminded me that all pups need is a bed, a couple of toys and lots of love. I've gotton a little over-excited, so need to back off slightly. She's ok and taking it all in good humour but how embarassing.
Bluefairy
Nicola ~ Puppy shopping is as great as baby shopping.....all the things you see you want for your little one....but will the budget stretch to that 4 poster bed you saw in that up market store???? Lily ~ I agree, things happen for a reason and we were talking about this this morning, how Zoe was born about a week after Annie died. Then all the ups and downs since then and different breeders, and hassles etc, then out of the blue this pup gets offered to me and it all now fits into place.....its amazing. The breeder has also told us if we want to go away anytime, they will board Zoe for us.....how great is that? Michelle ~ We are all nuts. Breeders I think are happier to see someone ask a million questions, than ask none. At least they know you care enough about Georgia to ask. I want to ask millions of questions too, but my breeder is having trouble with their internet and she is getting married on Saturday.... so she's a little pre-occupied I think I have been puppy proofing my place, there's less stuff around than I thought. We have an island table in the middle of the kitchen that has open shelves, I have just cleaned all the loose boxes, DS games, Sandwich Bags, Teabags, etc off the shelves and put them elsewhere. So now the only thing on there is 2 large baskets for the potatoes and onions, and the slow cooker, pizza oven and electric frypan. So not much to do now. Well I better go. We are serously considering this name now! I got a feeling that my breeder thinks I am nuisance. Lol I emailed her about the stuff I bought and stuffs like that. Even my girlfriend thinks I am a nuisance. Haha! Do you guys know how long it takes to transfer money online? I tried to transfer money to the breeder yesterday at about 6pm but she has receved yet. Michelleva
Nicola, if you do the transfer before 4pm, it will show up the next day, otherwise it will take two days. I'm sure it will appear tomorrow. Awww I can't wait to hear about Oreo's adventures.
Bluefairy
Nicola ~ It takes 2 working days for money to go through online. As you did it after 4pm it is more than likely not going to go into the breeders account until Monday or Tuesday. It is never longer than this, if its still not there then ring you bank to find out why. BF
Gumnut
I just got into internet banking and when I asked the how long question she told me 24hrs.
