We just sent off our deposit, we're currently babysitting mum's little fluffies (ages 7 and 5) and what a test run, left them with Brooke today who called me at lunch to say there were stolen cat turds all over the rug.

Had to laugh, but I'm not the one with a wad of toilet paper to pick it all up, so I'm allowed!

Awesome Steph!

I know the pain of kitty poo crumbs on the rug. Blerk.

We're just calling it a dry run, one of our cats was not amused when the dogs first started visiting, so I put our hands up to babysit thinking it might bring him round a bit, he's still not impressed, but he comes down out of his cat tree for dinner and to sit on the couch all together, so he's come miles in the space of 2 days. They go back home Wednesday and in a few weeks he will be wishing them back!

These two are still bouncy, but different to an exuberant 8wk old puppy....

Plus it's highlighting some kind of routine, I;E where cats are fed/where dogs eat and that clearly we will need a bigger water bowl. Haha.

I've already run round the yard and thrown out the snail pellets on the veggies and picked up all the plastic pot plant pots and other tempting not-toys, so really it's good practice.

Yep! Won't be our main focus. I'm showing mostly because the breeder asked me too. Probably do quite a bit while she's little. Then work up obedience, with a few shows. See how we're doing. If she's nice enough we'll keep it up. Plus if I have friends at shows, that will help the interest. LOL.

When are you getting yours?

Mines only 3 weeks old...5 weeks to wait. :(. It's going so slow.

Sounds great! I'm a bit the same, I'm planning to show while he's young and if he happens to do well then I'll keep it up. Is your breeder in SA?

My pup is 6 weeks old but he's actually coming from New Zealand and can't fly until he's 12 weeks! So I have to wait a while yet too :(

We should arrange a play date when we have them :)

Around the $1500 mark to Adelaide. Plus vet clearance and some other paperwork (can't actually remember what now, not his rego papers but something else he needs to travel) is another $250ish. On top of his purchase price, it's a larger expense than we were first anticipating. But his lines are (in my opinion) to die for so I'm prepared to spend it.

LOL!!! Hadn't noticed the 25% off! Might message the breeder about that haha ;)

My partner and I are agonizing over names! I really like Humphrey, he hates it. He likes Fergus which I also like, but not set on yet. It's so hard!

Ahh ok, Raiden is staying within Aus, I'm not so worried about the prices now. Will just have to wait for my quotes to come through.

You're in the same area as me, it cost me $234 to have a Dalmatian pup flown to Coffs from Tasmania. I think it was Jetpets? I thought it was a bargain!
