ceeshell
Wow Ceeshell, 6 days!! Do you have any pics? Woo Hoo... another Lappie pup to keep me going until my turn arrives!! Please, please share lots of photos!! Congratulations! No pics yet as we're still waiting on confirmation on which boy is ours. As soon as I know you'll all hear about it, I promise! Any advice on when to start puppy preschool? Should I just get right on it at 8.5 weeks?

Thats so soon Wow Ceeshell, 6 days!! Do you have any pics? Woo Hoo... another Lappie pup to keep me going until my turn arrives!! Please, please share lots of photos!! Congratulations! Should I just get right on it at 8.5 weeks? We had to wait for the next session of puppy classes to start so Onyx was around 11-12 weeks old when we started - this was perfect for him. But I know a lot of people do go to puppy classes straight away.

How long to go Ellinnet? Months! By choice though. In the midst of house renovations and hopefully selling and moving before we get ours. Will be ready by the end of the year though. Guest
No pics yet as we're still waiting on confirmation on which boy is ours. As soon as I know you'll all hear about it, I promise! Any advice on when to start puppy preschool? Should I just get right on it at 8.5 weeks? How exciting!! I'm in a similar boat to you. There are 3 girls from which one is mine so I can't share pictures yet. The breeder said she leaves it as late as possible so she knows their personalities as best she can. As for puppy school, I would start enquiring about it now because some places don't have classes running//starting all the time etc. so you might have the timing decided for you. My girl will be starting at around 9 weeks because I'm mainly interested in socializing her but want at least a week to get to know her myself :) 22 days left!! My crate should be arriving any day now and I've been spending my weekends puppy proofing :D I wish I enjoyed cleaning up this much all the time. mumof4girls
We started at 8 weeks he was a bit scared I guess but came out at 11 weeks playing with the other pups ,we were the youngest all others were 14 -16 weeks.. Week 9 he was ok week 10 more relaxed and week 11 like I said so playful the best on in the group :-) We don't have any dogs in our extended family so this was his first introduction after leaving his littermates :-) Wow Ceeshell, 6 days!! Should I just get right on it at 8.5 weeks? Well my puppy school of choice pretty much made the decision for me. The next session starts when our pup will be 9 weeks. We also don't have any dogs in our immediate social circle (well, there is one, but he can be quite dominating of smaller dogs) so puppy preschool will mostly be about socialisation for us. mumof4girls
Ceeshell, Rogue has had no other socialisation in regard to dogs but he was a delight at puppyschool.. We are really looking forward to his next vaccination so we can venture out a little and meet some dogs :-) We started at 8 weeks he was a bit scared I guess but came out at 11 weeks playing with the other pups ,we were the youngest all others were 14 -16 weeks..
