Provided that one of the boys is a good match for our family on aptitude testing , we will be getting a gorgeous Belgian Shephard (Laekenois)! No pictures to share as we won't know which puppy will be ours until they are bit older.

I know one old boy who wins the hearts of everyone he meets, he has the best temperament.

It doesn't matter, trust me. Halo's breeder has a Sohvi - and one of the puppies from Halo's litter was named Sohvi. If you like the name, go for it! And still undecided whether to fly him home or drive Waiting on a crate to be delivered, and stocking up on essentials before he comes home! We tossed up between the driving/flying thing too. In the end, we flew. The reason was it would be 8 hours in a car, trying to find suitable places that were safe to toilet and knowing what we know now, this would have been extremely stressful for Halo because she hates the car. Flying on the other hand was a one hour flight, though she did have to be there early and she threw up on the way to the airport, but our breeder was able to clean her up before checking her in, and she came off the flight in Adelaide and we had her 15 minutes after it landed. We were able to give her a drink at the airport before driving home, and it was a much shorter time and I believe relatively unstressful for her in comparison to how driving would have been. Katie do you have your name picked? Are you going Japanese? I kind of like ironically un-Finnish names, although I do like Karlo! There's a Lappie at obedience called Kai (just in case you were wondering ). I like a lot of 'old man' type names! OH says he gets to choose this one's name anyway He has horrible taste, so I may end up calling it something else when he's not listening. Part of the trouble is that I've had so many animals in my life that I'm running out of names

But im worried he will get sick or lost or something horrible! lol

But nothing happened, we had a FANTASTIC person in charge handling all of Halo's flights (Wayrod on here) and within no time we were giving her cuddles and taking her to her new home. Perhaps a quick flight is better. I would also worry about something horrible happening on flight, but so many people seem to fly dogs so must be ok.
