goldbaby
Huga - what kind of pup are you getting? Is it a frenchie? very cute ribbon! did you make a lead out of it? I cannot wait until Friday afternoon, we get to go visit the pups and have cuddles and photos and play with them! yay!!
SmoothieGirl
I'd avoid Max, its a good name, but there are so many dogs called Max these days you're likely to call the name and get five at your feet. I can highly recommend giving your preferred names a big yell out to try it out for style (in the privacy of your own home of course). I was seriously considering calling Ren, Blair. Then I did the shout out and realised that when said loud, it can sound like Blah. Given that herding is one of my dog sports I decided the last thing I wanted was for the herding judges and spectators splitting their sides with laughter as I call 'Blah, Blah, get round' or some other command. They would think I've gone mental. Shame, I still really like the name, maybe for a later dog that would be doing so much distance work.

Naomi
Huga, you are very creative! The lead came out well. And I will definitely check out Big W tomorrow for some toys. And also the reject shop. Some shopping will make the last day go fast. Only two more sleeps!! Starting to get very excited and a little bit nervous. Here is the collection of toys I have. Of course some I've bought for when Archie is bigger. I also have bowls which aren't shown and a blankie which I left with the breeder at our last visit. We will be looking after her for 11 days while they go on a cruise. She is a cocker spaniel so alot smaller then a golden retriever but it will still be good practise (daily walks, playing, feeding etc)
Naomi
Yep only one sleeeeeep! Very excited here! Can't believe after 20 years of wanting a dog I will finally own my first pup tomorrow. D&R, the Tug-a-Jug is awesome! I thought I could only get it online but then I saw it in stock at a pet store here. Nadine, cocker spaniels are soooo cute! I hope you have fun with her. It should make the wait go quicker. Huga, can't wait to see pics tomorrow!!!! How excited are you? I won't be able to sleep tonight!!

Naomi
Awesome! Sid can bond with you. Because OH does uni long distance he is usually away Mon - Fri. He is sad that Archer might bond better with me because he will be away so much. Of course, I don't mind.

stonecutter
We had a great time with Tim from Kouzoku this afternoon/evening and had lots of puppy cuddles . Anyway - introducing our little lovely - Kouzoku Ziva This pic wasn't too good - extracted from a video Tim was originally keeping her to be shown and later on used for breeding, but his health isn't fantastic at the moment so he wanted her to go to a great home and he chose us . She'll be on the main register. I wasn't keen on an entire dog - but given she was being kept for her potential, we'll wait and see how she looks at 5 months. If she has potential - we might get in to showing (I'm going to need heaps of help there!). Ziva's great aunt was the first JS to win an agility title - so hopefully she has a little of that in her as well! Her homecoming will be first week in April - I can't wait I'll post some more puppy pics in a sec
stonecutter
Ok - more puppy pics This was the smallest pup - a little girl we nicknamed "tiny" since she's 2/3 the size of the others - this is with her dad (Ronin)
