redkidsmum Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 hi therejust wonderin what other breeders out there do about when they have there pups microchipped, who's name do you fill the forms out in, and then how do you go about getting the owners to transfer them over. we are not legally obliged to get ours done where we are but i beleive that all dogs should be done for many reasons. just wanting to know other breeders way of doing it all. Just on that point, you are now oh i was told still in QLD we didn't have to as yet My Vet told me only last week that Nth of Mackay it is still not compulsary..different council areas ?? I find that if I chip all pups, half the owners don't bother to transfer the chip into their names, and if a chipped dog goes wandering, the Rangers don't always find the chip.
