MadWoofter Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 The NSW Dept of Premier & Cabinet has advertised an open tender: Division of Local government - NSW government Companion Animals education Program The Division of Local government, Department of Premier and Cabinet, is seeking tenders from suitable education program providers to deliver a Companion Animals education Program in NSW schools for Kindergarten to Year 2 children. The program must be available across all areas of NSW and focus on the following key messages: - How to act safely around dogs - The role of pets in the community - The importance of being a responsible pet owner If anyone wants any info let me know & I'll pass the details on. The program is much broader based though and includes farm animals and such. I wonder why they are not just expanding the existing unit with roles specificly for this purpose?
