megan_
As above, is this allowed? There is a registered poodle breeder (with prefix) on gumtree advertising poodles with or without papers. What's more, they're getting rid of a lot of their adult dogs because of their health - but they are still breeding puppies.

megan_
thanks. I was pretty sure that this was the case. I have sent something off to the CC.
lappiemum
Don't forget, papers may not be registration papers - they could be vaccination/vet check etc. Or they may actually be registration papers, but the buyer has to pay extra to have the dog's paperwork. Either way, screams dodgy breeder.

I went looking for it but just started getting depressed at what is for sale there. I'm wondering if these people have followed this thread and removed the ad from gumtree. SpikesPuppy
I have spoken to *some* breeders, not always dodgy, who use the term 'with papers' to refer to pups on Main Register and 'without papers' are those on Limit.
