Dogsfevr
What sort of dog?? If its a purebreed has she contacted the breeder??
moosmum
Yes please,Contact the breeder 1st if thats possible. Most breeders will be concerned with the welfare of any pups they have bred and will be very willing to help out. They may have people on a list for older dogs already approved should one become available. Aziah
Ensure it's desexed before it is rehomed, if it's from a breeder, contact them first... I hardly think it's fair to dump it on rescue and make it someone else's problem to find a home for...
puggy_puggy
Desex the dog before it is rehomed and screen the potential new owners as well as possible.
