caninefriend
Hi All Recently moved to Melbourne and don't have a great knowledge of the area. I live in the Western suburbs and am looking for enclosed off leash parks to take my dog. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Caninine Friend. tlc
Hi I am not in Melbounre, but on occasion catch up with a few friends and we go to clayton park, not sure how far that might be from you but it is fenced and off leash so might be worth checking out. It is in North Melbourne.

Nik
I'm in the western suburbs, and although it's not completely fenced, the dog park at Newport Lakes is great. There are no busy roads nearby, and the open side is heavily treed/shrubbery, which stops my dog from going there. I'd be a little careful there at the moment though, as there are known to be a few snakes about.
SmoothieGirl
The North Melbourne one is on the corner of Gracie St and Macauley Rd, near the Lost Dogs Home. Its pretty good. There is also one that's 'mostly' fenced in Yarraville on Whitehall Street. CF - I'm in Spotswood, if you are near that area Bronte and I are always up for playdates and she and Dexter clearly got on well at Kepala. Awesome, we are not that far away from there, will have to arrange a playdate, if you think Bronte can take more of Dexter that would be great

She's just such a mummy's girl at the moment that other dogs aren't all that exciting for her when I'm around. Just send me a PM when you want to arrange something. The Newport Lakes one is probably the most interesting for the dogs, all sorts of different landscapes.
fattima
We took Roky and Kiki to this park today. It is really good, so nice to let them off for a run and to get them a bit more socialised. Thanks for the tip Smoothiegirl
