What "supercharged" Treats Do You Use To Train With?

I think all the suggestions have been excellent. But I just thought I'd add that with my boy, I had to keep it different - if I used the same thing he became less enthused by it, but if I changed it around a bit he was much more excited

To this end, left overs came in very handy. I mean if there was meat left over from dinner I would cut it up small and then freeze it ready for a training session. So he would have anything from chicken, sausage, steak, pork etc.

What I want to introduce now is recall on a whistle so that I know she will come back if I take her to a park or the beach or something. I really want something super duper 24 carat gold with platinum plating and all the bells and whistles so that she knows when the whistle goes and she comes running she will get her very own little piece of heaven that will be so much better than the grasshopper or the other dogs bum that she has just found.

Any suggestions?

Vary the treats so that she doesn't know what she's going to get, otherwise she might to think "Hmm whistle. I know that it will be my favourite yummy chicken but this grasshopper is more interesting." You want her to think "Whistle!! Oooh what yummy treat am I going to get? I'd better hurry to Mum!".

Found this on youtube

It shows how to train a response to the whistle
