kiesha09
My dog was today hit by a car. Luckily she is ok and the vet seems to think that she just has soft tissue damage and bruising but should be ok. When I was at the vet I was so shaken up yet relieved that I forgot to ask some questions. I know I have to keep her quiet for a few days (at least 3) which is fairly easy at the moment because she is so sore!!! But once she starts getting more back to her normal self when should I introduce excercise again. She is a fairly high energy dog so it's going to be hard with no excercise at all. I was thinking some short walks (on lead) in 3 or 4 day (if she is ok then) would be ok. What do others think? Even just today I have noticed that if she has short walks around the house she is much looser than when she stays still in one spot for too long
persephone
If it only bruising etc- why not let her decide? If she's sore, she'll rest ...that's the theory, anyhow
