Go Atlas

It's amazing how they (dogs) just know when to react. We had a situation here a month ago and Gypsy went off like I've never seen, this fella kept yelling at her which made her more protective, he too asked me if she bit and I said she'll take your effin hand off if you don't back off, not that she would (but you never know  ) fella soon took off into the darkness haven't seen him since. (never seen him in my life and was drunk)

Hope the nerves are starting to settle Fran.......bloody awful situation for you to have been in

That must have been a very frightening ordeal Fran. I am glad nothing bad happened.

Dogs are so amazing aren't they?! Well, you never have to wonder now if Atlas will be protective if the situation arises, like many of us do.

What a good boy.

Special hugs to At from me.

Hope Luuka is OK.

Oh my how scary!!

Glad you are ok, and both dogs ! Well done to Atlas !!

When we first moved into this house, it only had a wooden front door. The first thing I did was put a good screen door on it ! (I know If someone wants to get in, they still will) but it does help a bit

Glad your neighbors were so alert and called the cops also !

Go Atlas!! Atta boy .

Glad you're ok, Fran. Must say, I think YOU handled the whole thing very well. So, Atta girl, Fran !!

Fran - if you can, it would be a good time to re-socialise Atlas again, giving him a positive experience, just as a 'finishing touch' to his new learning. It might not be necessary, but it would be something I'd do, just to be sure he is being discriminate and not taking the frightening experience as more than a 'one-off'.
