Blaqjaq
Hi All First post, forgive me for not introducing myself first, I will certainly get around to it very shortly!! Just quickly though, I am looking at purchasing some Andis clippers for my Standard Poodle. I just want to give him a short lower maintanance cut, not a show cut or anything flash, what blades should I purchase with the clippers? Also, I like the specs/value for money balance of the Andis AGRC "Power Groom"- is this going to be an adequate set for home use? And finally, who should I purchase from? They seem so much cheaper from the U.S.A but ofcourse they have a different plug so I would rather buy from an Australian retailer/online retailer.... felix
You are right, they are so much cheaper in US, less than half of the price in Australia. Too bad we can't use them here. It's not the plug, plug can be easily replaced. It's the 110V current. However, the second cheapest Andis I have seen are on UK ebay. With shipping cost they would be about 200 AUD. When I was getting my clippers I was thinking long and hard about this and ended up bying Wahl KM2 from Australian seller. Very happy.
