Thanks everyone.. News just in Jock ended up with 4th in both excellent Agility and Jumping :( that execellent agility pass was a shock to the system! and a Q in novice Gamblers FINALLY!! lol

We may earn our GD yet lol

Well done Smisch all your runs with Jock and Denver were great last night. I too had success at the trial last night Saxon came away with her 4th Q in Agility Excellent and also got her 1st Q in Novice Gamblers :) I was not expecting that Q in gamblers as i thought we had stuffed up on the gamble but we did not. I am so proud of my girl.

Yay Saxon! Go the old puppies! Catch you at Oxley! lol Common Jock we need to Catch Saxon!

Well..........after two long frustrating years the young man, Mr CK seems to be getting it together. (Or at least I've stopped failing him.)

He now has his JD title with the ANKC and is poised for more as we start to do more. Even better than that though at our BAD ADAA beginners trial on Saturday night he had two clear rounds from his two runs in Starters.

His contacts were just AWESOME - he drove into place on both the Dog Walk and A-frame and held the 2o2o position, but was super keen to get going again.

His weavers in the agility course were a little bit ordinary, but at least he recognised what they were  . In the jumpers course he missed a difficult entry, but flew through them after I turned him around. (Starters rules in ADAA allow you to try weavers as many times as you like - just makes making time a bit of a challenge.)

So, he is now CK BAAD, AAD, FDE (frisbee dog excellent) as well as being Trumagik Completely Obsesed JD, AFCH.

It's not much of a brag for many, but given the challenges CK has presented (both physically and mentally) I'm absolutely over the moon with him.

My Lincoln only sat in the show ring once and let the judge look at his teeth without fussing! ;) (Yes it is a training brag  )

:o - that is a good brag. I have to teach Rory that the judge does not put her face down near his just for a kiss. - though to be fair to him, she did leave her face down near his way longer than was necessary - she'd already checked his teeth - I think she really just wanted a kiss - she was a BC person :D

Congratulations everyone! So much to be proud of!

Sure is. :)

Go Tiggy!

My brag is that I built a tyre jump and Toby is doing it reliably!

My non brag is that last night at agility Toby lost focus and I had to leave early! But this afternoon he was being really good and offering jumps for plain kibble.

(He also decided that when my friends lab was going through the tunnel was a good time to jump onto the tunnel attempting to crush said lab... :cheer: he just really loves his tunnel, I have to leave it folded or he just runs through it constantly)

We had a double snooker trial last night. Missy Xena came out of her enforced rest totally fired up and was super quick. I got a bit muddled with her on the first course, but she was like a rocket. On the second it all went smoothly and she managed a card and first place. (I think I had forgotten what it is like to run a quick dog.)

The big story for the night was CK. He came out of his crate happy and wanted to play. The first course we ran clean and he really drove through the weavers and managed third place.

The second course was even nicer, except for jumping off the a-frame, but I put that down to faceplanting on the up contact on the first course and being a little bit nervous.

Again he drove really nicely through the weavers - independently of me too!! The other big thing is that he didn't stop when I turned him around 180 deg or called him off equipment for no apparent reason (snooker is weird sometimes and in the past he just wouldn't have coped!) WOO HOO!!!

2 cards for the night and we have started our search for our SD titles.

I hope tomorrow goes as well!

Good luck for the weekend everyone.

Congratulations AgilityDogs!!! I only realised when I heard your dogs names at presentations, that we were sitting right next to you!

We had a wonderful night and I am wondering why every trial can't be snooker... it's so much fun! Last night was our first trial up in Excellent and we came home with 2 quallies. Lomani came out firing in the first run and barked her entire way around the course - she usually doesn't listen when she barks and while she was a little more unpredictable than normal, followed my instructions perfectly.

I decided to go for the suicide 7's on the second run as I was happy to go home with just 1 q and the weaves were number 7 (Lomani's fave) so I figured it was meant to be. Lomani ran a beautiful course, very steady and attentive, not quite as speedy as the first but defnitely up there for her. I had great fun pulling the 7's off, but was sure we wouldn't make time as the BC's were doing it with only 10 sec to spare... but we nearly fell over at the finish line when we discovered that we made it by 0.03 of a second! :o Can't wait to do the 7's again!!!!!!

Frantically trying to stay still so that she gets some sleep in before today's trial now. She is terrible for not sleeping at trials and I'm pretty sure that after a late night and such excitement, there won't be many speedy runs happening today LOL.

Good luck to all on their doggy endeavours this weekend!
