huski
Caffy I just watched the rest of the video clips - lovely work but I couldn't help chuckling at Snazz on the recall when you left him. Hmmm just as well he stayed put . Would love to watch the vids Ness, are they on utube?

Ptolomy
I was more worried about Snaz applying the brakes in time in the recall Snaz was brilliant and the best part is Caffy has agreed to keep coming to training on MOnday nights cos he has two more legs to get and as for Rubystar WOW I have that SFE on video - so I will upload it and send it to you so you have it on record forever Well done Mate, you have worked hard over the last few weeks, put up with us picking on you and you came out the other end tonight with a great round
RubyStar
Thanks for the congrats everyone Caffy has a big brag from tonights trial C'mon girl....brag away....you deserve it! Proud as punch of the dusted off agility dog....Snazzy entered his first obedience trial and won Novice on 198 Congrats to Rubystar...you must be ecstatic with your SFE and fig 8 and congrats to bedazzled again for passing UD and Open Not sure why that was his first We could all see that he was destined to be an obedience dog! Well done, I watched your round and it was fantastic :D
ness
well maybe Ptolomy I am use to having a BC who leaves applying the brakes until the last moment and sometimes she forgets .
RubyStar
Thanks guys, yes I am very proud of Miss Ratbag. She may have laid down at the most inconvenient time, but I couldn't be prouder of her ringwork. If I could frame a video, I'd be framing that SFE!!! I'll upload some video soon Can't believe there's almost a month til the next trial, poo
RubyStar
and as for Rubystar WOW I have that SFE on video - so I will upload it and send it to you so you have it on record forever Well done Mate, you have worked hard over the last few weeks, put up with us picking on you and you came out the other end tonight with a great round If it wasn't for you guys picking and helping, I wouldn't be that close to a pass yet So please, keep picking away! I can't believe I keep missing out on passes by little things! (well ok, last week wasn't so little, jumping on the figure 8 post ) but usually it's just an SFE or a bloody sit stay between us and a pass. Sigh

RubyStar
reminder: do not talk gloves to Ptolomy on Monday.... Funny thing is, I'd rather crash and burn than scrape through on a pass with a crappy score, which is all we ever did in CCD. Though 195 is certainly not a crappy score in my book, so to crash and burn last night was NOT a good thing!!
ness
Hmmm Ptolomy - can we not talk about gloves I have some funny suspicion that before Ness manages a UD pass there is going to be a trial at some point where all she decides to fail is BLOODY gloves and I am going to get the whole you should have done food talk from people over here and I won't live it down until she comes through with a pass. Acutally no my other fear is that she will pass all her ring work, do her SFE stay and decide to sit up 6.5 frigging minutes into the UD down stay or just as I return into the ring. ness
Maybe you might have had more luck with food refusal Ptolomy .
RallyValley
RubyStar I thought Ruby did great. There was a lot more noise and action then there usually is at K9 when a trial is on and at least she didn't break the stay part.
RubyStar
Alrighty here is our video from last night: My poor girl got confused with the LAT because I threw in a last minute change to revert back to the one behind my back, while she was all ready to do the U turn. Shoot the handler!!!!! This had made me decide to finally ditch the old one and only use the new U turn one, as crappy as her backend awareness is at the moment on flat ground! huski
Awww RS you must be so proud - her heelwork was lovely! And what a great SFE - the judge was very thorough wasn't he!
Kavik
We did an ADAA agility trial today and got a quallie in Elementary Jumping There was even a chute! ( he didn't want to do the chute at the last trial). He ran fast and it felt really smooth. In Starters Jumping he did well, got his weave entry and weaved well, but did an off course jump near the end (had been the last obstacle in the last course, with the same sequence before). Yes quite thorough! Which is why I was freaking out about this particular SFE for quite some time! It felt like it went FOREVER when I was standing there, but watching it back, it wasn't as long as I thought
ness
looking good RubyStar. Hmm after having another look at that SFE I maybe shouldn't have been so chicken I have seen plenty worse over here in Novice .
