Camera Help - Need A Waterproof One

I have a Olympus Tough digital camera, but it broke 1 month out of warranty.

Really don't want to go with Olympus again, but I do want a waterproof one, and shockproof is a big advantage too.

Does anyone happen to own this and have and feedback??

I need it to keep in my handbag for where my SLR is too big, and will be taking it on our NZ holiday in March.

Looking around the $400 or less mark.

Panasonic do nice cameras

Got to play with a Fuji one Z33 I think, the other day. Very cute. Does a pretty good job on photos. Not shockproof, I don't think, though.

OMG just saw the price on that panasonic. CRAZY expensive. I'd buy 3 Canon SD1200s and not care if I hurt them. Maybe find a different Canon model & get the housing too for when I was in the water. I'd still be ahead on price!

I just got that exact camera for Christmas, I love it

It's already been dropped a few times and taken loads of pics and video in the swimming pool

We own one!

Really good camera, we take it to the beach a lot. Decent optical zoom for such a small lens. We haven't dropped ours yet [although its inevitable to happen with a clumsy OH and two dogs].
