*Avanti*
One of my dogs is on a diet that includes pumpkin. I have been cooking pumpkins whole in the oven in a tray of water and then removing the seeds from them later. This makes it a lot easier to process. I was doing that today and wondered as the seeds are not so big (usually Kent and Butternut pumpkins) whether I really need to remove them or could they eat them as well. As it is I mash the skin up with the pulp. Any thoughts/info whether the seeds would be ok to include? Prydenjoy
The seeds are very high in nutrients but hard to blend. I'd be leaving them in.
Golden Rules
They're fine to eat, they'll probably just poop them out the other end

Bully
Pumpkin seeds are supposed to be good for getting rid of intestinal worms. Those little green pepitas are actually hulled pumpkin seeds. When I use pumpkin I cut out the seeds and dry them and when I have a collection I grind them in my little cheap coffee grinder and stick about a teaspoon in Pele's dinner or dog biscuits that I'm making If the pumpkin seeds where whole I doubt that they'd be digested and would come out the other end
