Great photos Le .... I especially love the shot of Rabbit

That's not because she is Mort's grandmother, is it?? I suspect that is a biased opinion, similar to my own.

It helps when you are taking these sort of shots if the dogs will do a good sit-stay and are watching what the others are up to. You get that look of intensity in their eyes. Thanks for the comments, guys.

Yeah ok a slight amount of bias there  but she is such an awesome girl - you can't help but love her!

Great photos and your dogs are beautiful. ;)

Dunno if you're into editing but the photos could use a touch more contrast if you are...

Generally I don't do anything with my photos, except sharpen them a bit when printing. This year's birthday present might be photoshop, but I son't know when I will ahve the time to play around with it much.

Thanks for the comments, everyone.

Deleted because I've never been made to feel that way here ever. Sorry.

Me, either, rugerfly.

I certainly don't mind the constructive criticism i have recieved, eg about increasing contrast. In fact I find it helpful. But somehow, redoing some-ones's work, without any instruction how - is just criticism, or perhpas showing off, without any help to the person it is directed at. I felt insulted.

I fell fairly sure I will never post photos again.

I am sure Ruger meant no offence, in fact I know she didn't. I've had people alter my pics here without asking me and to be honest I was delighted that they saw something in them and wanted to help me. I actually felt flattered. Please dont take offence, we're a friendly bunch here in Photos, and Ruger I wouldn't mind if you tweaked my pics, even though you are in the opposing camp (Nikon).

Yup i second Kirislin, Ruger has quite a few times touched up my photos and its always done with the best intentions and i have always appreciated it. It was never done with malice or to show off, rather as a fun thing that she enjoys doing and generally to the appreciation of the photo taker.

Well, I happen to regard photography as rather individual artwork and think those changes are a bit like altering some-one's painting, or drawing. I would suggest changes, but NEVER touch someone else's work. Just how I feel.

I see it a bit differently because they aren't changing your original artwork/photograph, but I understand that some people feel the same as you. On a photography forum I am on when you join you can say whether or not you will allow people to edit your work. I put yes, but some say no. But again I want to say I am sure Ruger meant no offence to you.

and this thread inspired me to alter my siggy.
