Here is mine for tonight

I was given the opportunity to shoot a fashion parade at a local club this evening... several shots to go through, but here is a quick example of one of my shots from tonight. It was a steep learning curve and something I haven't done before, so a big lesson!

TD The passionflower was taken with my 55-200 lense (the flower was up high and im height challenged) manual focus. I use nikon d90...sometimes it gets lonely with all these canons around...

Thanks for the encouragement folks....I am so enjoying this challenge.

Terra - that shot is awesome! Even though the dog isn't on the move just yet, it has so much energy about it. Great tones too :)

Bec - that shot of Henry is great. He looks like a story book character in a forest :)

Does anyone else have a pup that simply rarely moves. If I tell him to go outside he walks the least distance he can and flops. Then if you tell him to come inside he will walk to the nearest dog bed and.... yep flops.

Ok im going back a while here.

Shell I love that photo of Zero in his pool. The bokeh looks awesome. Your shot of Mow is so good. Those eyes really pop out.

To your St Kilda comment, we lived there for years until about a year ago and have now moved about 15 minutes away. My favorite place in the world.

Kirislin I love Puck's speaking shots. I admire people who can take photos of whipets its hard with their long noses!

Great timing with your'catch shot'

FD your fly shots are great. Love the detail.

TLC!!! Your beach shots are beautiful!! I especially love the 4th one.

How cool is Archer!? Great shot poocow, love the focus.

Craizy Daisy love the colours in your flower shot.

Huga your pug has the BEST expressions. Im loving your photos.

Red Angel your flowers are great. It brought back memories as we had them in our yard when I was a kid.

TD The sky in your second shot came up so well

Justice Shades, Cam just met Lance!!! He called and his voice was shaking. He IDOLISES the man more than anything. He reads his books over and over.

He signed his cycle jersey for him. I think Cam was about to cry!

Unfortunately he couldnt get close enough to hump his leg as there were so many people trying to get to him

Thanks for all the comments on my shots, I think it is great people take the time to comment cause I think it does give you a boost to know others have taken the time out just to look at your shots and notice things about them, good or bad!! I think thats what its all about. Still proud of myself that I havent missed a day yet!!

Hey OT but have you heard how Tom is getting on, hope he is doing well with his new owner!!

Tom is doing fine - spends all day inside on the couch watching TV while his mum is out earning "bone" money apparently :scared:
