Kirislin
Fluffypaws I love the cat in the grass.Mine for today is the mystery (to me) fruits on the trees in my back yard. My guess is Quinces! Do they ripen to big yellow things with pink flesh. they're very good stewed. the second ones are nectarines as has already been said.
Evolving
I don't know what they are like when they are ripe but this is what it looks like inside now. (It took three throws onto the ground to crack it open) ok looking up quinces on the internet it looks like you have to take it off the tree to ripen. I bet it is hard to tell I know nothing about growing stuff. Edited January 23, 2010 by Evolving

tlc
@ the Meercats and especailly because my photos today are of Tully when we often refer to her as a Meercat cause she jumps about on her back legs to look over things Great shots everyone, Especially love Asha in the tub!! RJ, that shot of RJ is fab, he is a great little model!! Lic, your little boy is adorable!! & love the horses. RA, nice ducks love the second shot! FD, love the runnings doggies!! @ the nom nom nom chocky doggies!! Shell, love the SP, My goodness your skiin looks absolutley flawless!! Great shot! Fiona, love the sleeping puppy!! Pointees, Like the kitty in the tree, and lovely sunset!! FP, Kitty in the grass, so cute, fab shot!! Kate, you look happy in your SP! Ams, your doggy looks like he is beat, and just plonked down....Zzzzzzzzz here is mine, I was trying to achieve a shot of Tully catching the ball, and Ive got so many good shots of her catching the ball but do you think today I could do it, I didn't have my shutter fast enough might try again another day. Tully is a ball nut, she will do anything for the ball, so it was a good opportunity to take some snaps of her while she was focusing on the ball!! This one is my favorite, not sure why? tlc
The outtakes I was going about it all wrong, The 50 mm not the best lense to use, also my crappy coordination throwing the ball and having the camera at the ready!
TerraNik
I was going about it all wrong, The 50 mm not the best lense to use, also my crappy coordination throwing the ball and having the camera at the ready! Not the best lens to use for action shots?? I'd disagree there! It's my FAV for action shots! Just need more light so you can up the shutter speed I really like the composition of the 5th shot! LOVE the photo of Asha, Bec!! So cute with the duckies!! Edited January 23, 2010 by TerraNik
tlc
I agree with you TN, that jumping shot of CJ and lots of other outdoor action shots I have used the 50mm and they have been great, but I think cause I was in confined quarters and rushed and didnt have enough room or coordination! Guest Ams
Thanks TLC. She is actually super underweight and I'm worried about her. She won't eat regularly and is burning more energy than she is consuming which is making her irritable around the other dogs. She is such a sweetie but so unsure of everything atm. So many fab shots again today. My favs are: Cat in the grass - just love those eyes. The glider... so cute and tiny. The little black fluffy doing zoomies and Becandcharch's unhappy puppy in the bath... you should consider putting out a coffee table book with photos of these two.. they are so photogenic.
