marinapoint
Hi all, Just have a quick query, where is a US operator in SE Melbourne? My vet doesnt do it, and all I want to know if my girls accidental mating has taken (quite late day 17). Just want to make plans for everything and knowing as early as possible would be great. I could wait to do a relaxin test, but I think US can confirm pregnancy a little earlier. Seems the dogs took matters into their own hands as I was planning the litter for later next year. Doesnt really matter either way, but would like to know if she is, or isnt! Cheers guys

SpikesPuppy
slightly OT but what costs are US these days?? I paid $88 at Wyndham vet clinic. Much better than the $183 I paid for a blood test at Altona when we tried in June!! Though everything is way overpriced there.
ellz
Here in Hobart, my usual vet charged me $75 for the confirmation u/s and $85 for the count xray. Another vet I rang wanted $130 for the confirmation u/s if performed by a staff vet and $220 if performed by a "specialist" on the same equipment. They then wanted $175 for a count xray if done by a staff vet and $290 if performed by a "specialist".
SilverHaze
Woofpurnay in Narre South should have one. They xrayed a bitch a couple of months ago for us as well.
Addicted2gold
Karingal Vets and Beach street vets are a couple of minutes apart on the same road Cranbourne Road. Beach street were about $50 Ph 9781 4499. They are really good if they can't confirm at 3 weeks they let you go back again a week or so later & don't normally charge. The u/s I had done this morning was at Monash but my girlfriend took her so I don't know how much it was.

Addicted2gold
Yes Missymoo they really look after breeders. I have been going there for about 6yrs now, lovely vets. I normally see Emma but haven't had a vet I haven't liked there yet. Travel 30minutes each way, just love the service they give, they are also open Sunday mornings for emergencies. Had to ring the after hours on cup day as a pup took sick, the owner met me there, gave pup injections & thorough check, sent me on my way and had to go back 2 days later for a check up, they only charged me $100 and that included medications. I can't recommend them highly enough. I even get a Christmas card
