kateshep
Made in Germany Hunter I bought an elkskin leather collar and lead from a Petshop in Keswick England from the Hunter range, it is incredibly soft and and easy on your hands-still very strong. I haven't come across this kind of quality before so I had to share and also ask if anyone else has heard of them and happy with their products ? It is kinda ironic I had just previously been to the WUSV schutzhund competition in Krefeld, Germany and bought some stuff there only to find even better quality collars, leads in a Petshop( only sold equipment ) in a little Lake district town in England LOL The hunter range is made in Germany yet wasn't at any of the stalls at the WUSV comp aswell. Kelpie-i
Kateshep, I have a tracking lead that a friend of mine got for me from Germany. The leather is so soft (just as you describe) but I am not sure what type of leather it is....could very well be the same type of leather. Unfortunately I haven't had much luck in finding anything remotely similar here in Australia, not even at the leather merchants
