TeddyBear
Is it ok to feed cooked prawn heads, tails, shells etc to dogs? I have some to throw out but the dogs really want them so I'm not sure lol
woodbyne
Hi, I have given mine some before with no side effects. You are better than me i just fed them to them they eat gross stuff they find in the paddocks at home so i gave them to them. I'm sure someone might know scientifically if they are ok. One of mine has a sensitive stomach and had no side effects.

WreckitWhippet
Mine prefer the actual meat and they are all partial to oysters
FranVT
That's interesting, can the sharp bits on the prawn heads hurt the dogs oesophagus though?
Hetzer
I gave Kimmi some prawn yesterday and she really loved it, but I didn't give her any sharp bits.
TeddyBear
They ate them and there didn't seem to be any problems. Thanks everyone.
Akay
I've fed prawns to mine before but without the heads. I think there's potential for the hard, sharp point on the head to cause some trouble.
