Dog Barking Problem

Hello,

I have a 8 month old Pomeranian.

I also have 3 others who are all relatively quiet unless I excite them or when I get home they do bark and cry a little out of excitement of seeing me - but most of the day and night they are quite as can be!

My newest edition is 8 months old as mentioned above - I bought her from a different breeder from the other 3, and as far as training goes she is very smart and is fully trained for show - and knows all the basic commands.

The last couple of months she has taken to barking! Firstly it started off every time I got home which was triggered from the others, and I was quick to act on this as usually my 3 will shut up when asked as this was how I trained them making it clear to them that I do not tolerate barking, as its important to me to keep the peace with the neighbours. But the same training I have applied with this girl and it took her a long while to shut up! and just sets off barking with anything! It just seems to be getting worse, she barks at everything and anything day and nights and it is driving me mental.

I can't see her being bored or not stimulated enough as she is never alone and has the other 3 as company and playmates, they all have plenty of toys left out for them and a nice big yard to run around in and they all get walked and all get short sessions of training followed by play time - this routine is mixed up a little with different things, toys and treats or destinations like dog parks, beaches etc - all in all I do the very best I can to keep them happy and most importantly the neigbours happy!

Things that trigger her off - the neighbours back gate into their yard runs along our property boundary so every time someone opens and walks in she sets off!

Hearing people out the front, car doors closing out the front, as for anything else I can't hear but she will still bark at something??

So I just want to hear peoples advice as to how I should try and revert this behavior as I feel me yelling and screaming is not getting anywhere anymore and I am no trainer for such behavioral issues, so would really appreciate some sort of advise.

Thank you in advance.

Jess.
