Kirislin
Just read on another forum where some one was posting their sweet little newborn puppies. Pit bull x mini daschund! When someone commented on it he just said they were in the same kennel and when he went to get her they were stuck together. Bloody dimwit! tdierikx
It's truly amazing the crosses you see in rescue... the strangest mix I've see so far was a Staffy/Maltese. Funnily enough, a lovely couple came in looking for a Staffy (for hubby) or a Maltese (for wife) - I said that we may just be able to fill the bill with ONE dog... lol! Needless to say they both actually fell in love with the "fluffy Staffy", and they adopted her. She is now living the good life heaped with lots of love and attention from her new skin parents... T. Kirislin
I've seen a golden retriever/maltese cross and a husky/beagle both regulars where I walk my dogs.
FranVT
In the local paper here the other day I saw 'wolfhound x dane puppies' not the most unusual mix but after the ad the words "perfect Christmas gift" were printed in red.

Lucy's mama
It's truly amazing the crosses you see in rescue... the strangest mix I've see so far was a Staffy/Maltese Either he made his way all the way to QLD, or he is not one of a kind. I met one just last week.Staffie head and stocky, muscular body, with white long hair. his owners were very happy with him and said he was a fabulous obedience dog. When we were kids our cocker female had a litter that included a pup sired by a rottweiler. Edited December 13, 2009 by Lucy's mama

raineth
I think my current foster puppy is an australian cattle dog x chihuahua and strangely, she is a perfect untaught retriever lol! I have trouble imagining what a pit bull x daccie would look like
Her Majesty Dogmad
I have the cutest looking little dog here, she's been bred from - she's most likely a Papillon / JRT cross - the two breeds are very apparent in her looks but if you are expecting the Papillon - look out!! She's all Jack in her character ....
~*Shell*~
I saw a "speagle" today at the pets paradise at parramatta (it's right next to the escalators and the sign was unmissable) - apparently that's what they're calling beagle x cocker spaniel x mini poodle now. and
cannibalgoldfish
I told the petshop in town recently that their sign was wrong and there really was no such thing as a "silkalier" . They ignored me, funny that.

Miss B
the strangest mix I've see so far was a Staffy/Maltese I've met a few of these, and most are just very large scruffy terrier-looking dogs. I recently came across a post on another forum advertising APBT x Sheltie pups...
Kirty
The local PP here has Staffy x Maltese puppies quite frequently.
centitout
Great dane /basset (deliberate cross with A.I) and whippet /maltese-these people ought to be charged and never allowed to own another dog.
