Guest belgian.blue
This Christmas it has been five years since I lost my beloved English Pointer, Penny Lane. Makes it so much harder to deal with as each year we have Xmas lunch at a different Auntys house and this year it is at the same Aunts house we had lunch 11 days before Penny passed away. I remember that Christmas morning so very clearly. Curled up on the bed my brother had slept in that evening on the loungeroom floor with Penny snuggled into my side and we layed like that for hours .. until it was time to leave the house for lunch. She was never really a cuddly dog but gosh that morning she was .. I'm sure she knew it was the last time we'd would ever see each other before she got sick that day. I now have my amazing Miss Ivy and she's my world but damn I miss my black and white daggy Pointer

Chicken
Awww Chels, it's not something we ever get over. And it's this time of year makes it all the more harder with the memories of those who aren't here with us to share the season. One day you, Ivy and Penny will be able to all play together. Thinking of you.
