sas
http://www.seek.com.au/job/brilliant-b-dog.../16332827/33/1/ The successful applicants will be highly personable, of “sunny” disposition with strong communication skills, both written and oral. They will be well organised and able to work without full supervision, whilst also able to perform well within a team. They will need to possess a reasonable level of physical fitness. Ideally, they will hold the NDTF Certificate in Dog Training and Behaviour; and a title on their dog in ANKC obedience or agility; or other dog sport. Future career advancement within Pet Resorts of Australia will be available. Presently, the organisation operates two sites and has plans for numerous others. The positions available at present involve the domestic obedience training of dogs during their stay at the resort; and some individual lessons and group classes. The organisation currently holds several government and private contracts for the training of scent detection dogs and their handlers and the training of distance learning students for the NDTF. Proven suitable trainers will have the opportunity to progress to these aspects of training. New contracts involving various aspects of dog training are sought on an ongoing basis. There are two positions available: one could be full-time with a part-time support or; alternatively, the six days per week could be job shared.
