Seita
Huski - There is one just near the blunder road round about that goes over the ipswich motorway - it's behind the bunnings! Sometimes I really do love living in Durack... I can get home cook dinner etc and leave at oh may 6:25pm LOL :D
huski
Oi shut up Seita :D I don't even like maccas much but I know I won't be organised enough to bring food along with me I'm still deciding if I should go home and get changed first or leave when I finish work at 5pm, to give me enough time to get something to eat on the way, considering how bad the traffic will be coming over the bridge at that time! MrsD
OK dinner at Seita's place at 6pm :D . Ptolomy, you would have loved it, go on, change your flight back, you know you want to . We (read - I ) are getting so excited, we had a check of all the audio visual systems the other night, only 3 more sleeps til the seminar & 5 more sleeps til his workshop at CT :D . ETA - huski, are you doing the beginner's course, cos I even got myself invited to come along & help instruct just for you! ;) Edited April 18, 2010 by MrsD

GoldenGirl85
Huski how long do you think it will take to get from the northside to Durack?
huski
Depends where you are coming from - I work in Spring Hill and Whereis reckons it will be about 25 minutes - that's not accounting for Peak hour traffic though. If I am coming from my house it will add another ten or so minutes on. Just gotta decide if I am going to go straight from work or if I would go home first. BC4ME
It takes 45 minutes from Aspley to Durack at that time of night with the traffic I would allow 1 hour. PS that's not using the new tunnell. Edited April 20, 2010 by BC4ME

MrsD
Dagboy & I have always said that everytime we do a workshop or seminar with a different trainer, there is always something else new that we learn. ;) When it comes to training dogs, I think that the day we stop learning is the day we may as well give up training . I love Richard so much because he's a great people teacher as well as dog trainer. I've seen people who are undoubtably great trainers who can't get their point across to the person on the other end of the leash & that is such a waste. I'm off to finish making one of the raffle prizes - nothing like leaving it to the last minute .
BC4ME
I am excited about tonight but I really can't wait for the week-end although performing on Friday night will be nerve racking. ;)
MrsD
Yeah I am getting even more excited about the weekend, Friday night should be interesting as I'm sure everyone will expect Whisper to do a routine now & I have no costume for her routine & between Jarrah taking jumping bean syrup & biting the cane I think my whole routine is going to be a bit of an experience . Plus I don't have my new routine ready yet, so it will have to be the old I Will Survive one, everyone will be groaning & shuffling in their seats ;) . I don't know whethere to do "The Entertainer" which has more in it and I really like the costume or "Tequilla" which is faster for Chook but I have to cart and set up the jump. or should I just do Chook's HTM routine "Popcorn". That is if he does anything at all!!!!!!!
BC4ME
It should be good fun! Hopefully the weather will improve by tonight!! I hope so too as Richard is doing some Demo's with a couple of dogs and the CCCQ won't allow dogs inside so we will have to go outside for his demo. Make sure you allow time for traffic in this weather as well. Stay safe on the roads. ;)
