Yeah I am getting even more excited about the weekend, Friday night should be interesting as I'm sure everyone will expect Whisper to do a routine now & I have no costume for her routine & between Jarrah taking jumping bean syrup & biting the cane I think my whole routine is going to be a bit of an experience    .

Plus I don't have my new routine ready yet, so it will have to be the old I Will Survive one, everyone will be groaning & shuffling in their seats  .

I don't know whethere to do "The Entertainer" which has more in it and I really like the costume or "Tequilla" which is faster for Chook but I have to cart and set up the jump.

or should I just do Chook's HTM routine "Popcorn".

That is if he does anything at all!!!!!!! :o

Hey! Why not do all 3?:rofl: :D :) ;)

Huski, good idea, with the weather the traffic will no doubt be shite.

ETA - I have just finished putting together the 2nd thing for the raffle, I hope whoever wins it likes it :o .

What a great night!

I had a fantastic time and Richard is a very entertaining speaker. So glad I went along! Thank you so much to the DWD Club of QLD for bringing him out here :nahnah:

Ditto

Im going to try some of his focus work on my JRT, I spoke to him afterwards because most of his demonstration was working on heeling, where as for agility we need to send our dogs forward, he said I should do the toy exercises the red BC was demonstrating (except I can guarantee Tess wont do it that well for a very long time if ever lol) and Ill try the ball under the chin thing too, she is very focused on my hands

So glad I went along, I was very close seeing if I could get a refund because of the rain! I get quite nervous driving in the dark and the wet lol

Wish I knew who you were GG and I would have said hello! I was the girl with the red hair wearing a white headband.

The ideas he had for focus exercises were great. I loved the exploding head!

Glad you enjoyed yourself, he is extremely entertaining & funny & so full of info. When he does a weekend workshop (like the one we are going to this weekend) it is non-stop fun & action, he even gets everyone up dancing (for the DwD workshops) up & down the length of the seminar area :nahnah: .

We were very worried that the rain was going to foil our plans to have the demo half of the seminar outside but in the end it was fine & it worked really well. :bottom:

Where abouts were you sitting Huski? I was in the middle section on the right hand side, towards the front, and for the demo I was over the left hand side of the group, most people seemed to be there in pairs or more, I was looking out for other loners like me lol

He was great, there was a few times when I tuned out a bit...sleep deprived and worried about a sick pup, I wish I thought to bring a notepad though, didnt think about it until I was there lol

:nahnah: I love the exploding head & the magical hand too, he's such a funny man, he should patent them :bottom: .

I was the one sitting down the front next to Dagboy who was operating the DVD player, I was also on the raffle ticket table for a while until about 15 mins before it started.

You'll just have to come along to a DOL meet so we can meet you :nahnah: then next time chances are you will know someone :bottom:

Seita and I were talking last night about meeting up every now and then for a training session, if any Brissy DOLers are interested they are welcome to come along.

Oh, that treat stick he had when he was teaching Whizzy the high trot, does anyone know what it was called and where I might get it? looks great for teaching my little dog circle work, she thinks all walking must be in a straight line unless we follow a path around a corner

God help Jane Harper when I see her Saturday lol, she will take one look at Tess and scoot I think LMAO
