Barf & Changes In Behaviour

I've just started learning about the BARF diet and was wondering if people (especially with rescues/fosters) noticed a positive change in their dogs' behaviour? Calmer, more cooperative perhaps? :) I know it's not a cure-all, but anything that could make a difference to my rescue dog is worth inquiring about.

I've tried searching for this topic and nothing came up so if you know of any links, that would be great too.

There have definitely been observations about dogs benefitting from diets free from colourings and preservatives but as far as I know the improvments are anecdotal evidence only.

I think Wendy Vollhard has written on the issue.

My dogs hyperactivity was reduced dramatically when I started feeding him BARF. COuld be a coincidence but I do think barf had something to do with it.

Also after a few days he stopped chewing everything! It could be that his chewing needs were being now met with the raw meaty bones.

So I definately believe there were behavioural changes in my dog.
