kelpiechick
Phone the vet clinic at Laverton and find out if Robyn Jackson is taking the puppy classes there. She's great.

Nik
Yarraville Village Animal Hospital do their puppy school in conjunction with the trainers at Hairy Hounds in Williamstown North. Really informative and real training, not just socialisation. I think though that Hairy Hounds is breaking for the Christmas break after this weekend, not sure what's happening at the vets (I have a friend with a great dane doing the PPS there at the moment). Good Luck
Pomi
Thanks Nik. Looked at Hairy Hounds their website and it's seems very good and close to our place. Have sent them an e-mail for more info. I won't be taking the puppy home till next week unless the breeder says otherwise. So I won't keep my hopes up for attending any puppy school during the Christmas & New Years break. Our baby boy will be trained by novice parents that rely on doggy books until we are enrolled into school...oh dear.
Nik
Christie who runs Hairy Hounds is lovely, and so are all the trainers. Not the cheapest around, but I (in my "experienced" dog ownership ) believe that it was quality instruction. not many in the classes, and very clear instructions.
