OSoSwift
I have seen it used on my horse the otherday that had an abscess. The vet poured the crystals into the hole and then made it moist with Betadine liquid. Worked a treat, sound horse in 3 days. I have also seen it used very successfully mixed with plain white zinc on a dogs toe that had a very deep deated infection around the bone on his toe. Saved most of his toe and he only lost the very end with the nail bed. It was cleaned off daily with a mild saline solution and reapplied for around 3 or 4 days from memory. ozjen
Honey can also work well, when my cat had an injury from a cat fight that looked abit infected I put honey on it and covered it for about half an hour while I kept her distracted with a bit of fussing. Worked a dream and really cleaned up the injury. Have never thought of using epsom salts but will have to add this to my furkids medical box, thanks for the tip.
