JudyG
Hi I have a pup who has had her 12 wk vaccinations and we were suppossed to be going to Noosa for a weekend (booked before we had the pup!) I have been taking her out a wee bit locally (sticking to concrete paths) for socialisation. I am in western Brisbane and my vet said they haven't had a case of parvo for years and reckon it has been vaccinated out of the area. Does anyone now the situation around Noosa on the Sunshine Coast? we will obviously be careful where we take her - no grass, dog beach etc

pixie_meg
I'm at Maleny, so a bit away from Noosa but what my vet told me was that parvo up here atleast is more common in the low socio economic areas. Noosa being a high socio area i'd say it would be fairly safe. If your pup has had her 12 week vax i'd say she'd be fairly safe anyway.
pixie_meg
maybe ask your vet.
Nannas
I'd ring a vet in the area (or a couple) and ask. Even if the vets haven't had any cases brought in they would certainly know more about it.
