Great work TerraNik :grouphug: . It actually bought a tear to my eye at the end when you picked him, knowing how happy you were just to be there. Jedi looked so cute in his coat to  .

Jedi's coat makes a good tear catcher too...

It bought a tear to my eye too!! Was so lovely to see! He looked great out there Nik :grouphug:

Quick question, I noticed in the stays that the dogs are kind of in the middle of the ring and the handlers only have to walk a relatively short distance away from them. In all the QLD trials I've been to, the dogs are set up at one side of the ring and the handlers have to walk the width of it away. Is the distance you are required to be away from your dogs during stays different for each state?

Distance is stipulated in the Rules huski but from memory its possible that its worded such that its a minimum given - would have to check a rulebook and busy watching Crufts :grouphug: .

I'm glad I'm not the only one - I thought I was just being a sook! Congratulations on a "scratch-free" return to the ring with Jedi, TerraNik

Stay distance is as per ANKC rules - on ANKC website - but it is not given as an exact distance - same as recalls. So can vary from judge to judge. It is up for review at the ANKC Obedience conference at the end of this month. Think the aim is to make it more likely to be uniform.

Okay......

:D

It was a DQ (he thought the tunnel was a bit too fun - twice  ) but I was still very happy with him and it was a lot of fun, and surprisingly not as scary as I thought. It was past 10pm by the time it was our run and I stepped on his foot just before we went in and made him scream :o so I reckon he did pretty well!

I'm very happy the 'first trial' barrier has been knocked down, now I'm going to search my Canine Journal today for more trials to enter :D

Note to self - work on the 'here' command at training

Thanks to RubyStar for filming it for me :)

Great, I broke it :(

I set it to public? I'll go and see where I went wrong!

ETA: Now try it, the settings changed

ETA: I keep changing it to public then when I go back into it it has changed back to private.

You've got the bug now, Amy!! :(

I think I do now, too! After walking the course with you guys last night all I have been doing is running it over in my head and wanting to have a go myself

Well done on a great round! Tunnels are too much fun, can't blame him! So, if you want to sell me your tunnel now..:eek::(

Video is still private :o
