But I have a feeling (I dont rely on temps) it could be a valentines litter too Shes quite content today, nibbled some brekky and now is laying in the puppy pen Hows your gal Lolap? redkidsmum Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 I have two little toy poodles both due to have their babies on 16th Feb..I seem to spend half my day with them on my knee massaging their little tight tummies.They wouldn't be spoilt Much!!!!.I only have a few girls but they had to come on exactly the same day..man I hope they at least wait till one whelps before the other starts. My girl is fine, tight little tummy and giant hooters but coping beautifully. I got home from shops yesterday and she had a dirt moustache from digging her bunker in the garden, my cairn got in there with her was very cute. We arent expecting a big litter so hopefully all goes well. She is still eating like a horse and happy running around. waiting.... waiting... YAY!!! I have been waiting and waiting for her to come in!! I only checked her vulva yesterday, no swelling ir bleeding...mmm must be another silent, strange, shes never h ad silents before and now has had two! At least the right dog got her! I am VERY excited about this mating!!! Fingers crossed for a couple more ties MM this is where you got your 22nd from. I corrected you but obviously 22nd has stuck in your brain. Missymoo Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 (edited) Well after being up all night with a huffy puffy, I wanna go outside etc.. now have (so far) 2 little boys here, born after 5.30 am a da shy of Valentines day Boy A 200 g, Boy B 192g, 1 or 2 still to come..kids are still in bed so i hope she gets on with it before they all wake up... YAY!!! thought boy 3 was not the last, so after an hour (no pushing, just feeding others) I took her out the back for a wee..lo and behold she starts pushing..so I call my 8 year old to bring a towel and scoop up number 4..BOY! She settles down to feed again so I call the vet to get an appointment for her antinatel check over...ok booked for 9.45am..(it was currently 8.30am) so feeding kids, getting dressed, now and then pop in to check, yup feeding all good... go to brush my hair and ..she is pushing again..out comes number 5 who is a .......................GIRL!! (and a lovely dark colour, others are all the usual red!) Im so excited We make the vet appointment just and all is well, mum happy, bubs happy and now back on the milk bar and mum content. So all in all a beautiful whelping and two more surprises All very similer in weight (around 200g) and drinking well. Will take some pics later on, again have to download to the laptop...agghhh...
