DogNerd
Just wondering whether someone could reccommend a good, polite, kind vet who also takes an actual interest in the animal they are examining in the Sunshine Coast area, preferably either Maroochydore, Caloundra, Mooloolaba areas. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help.
ShesaLikeableBiBear
Pippin71, my Mum has a 12 year old mini poodle and "swears" by Geeta at Buderim Veterinary Clinic 137 King St. 54452288
DogNerd
Thankyou  Would that be the one that used to have the grooming salon above it? I'll check it out.
Got Spots
I know you prefer down near the coast But We use the Lamington Terrace Vets in Nambour They are lovely the vet nurses love our dogs and give them heaps of treats and cuddles. The groomer is a lovely lady who adores dogs and does a good job (neighbours poodle is clipped there). The vet is a lovely lady and nothing is ever to much trouble, she is gentle with the dogs and they love her, even my nervous one. They have a cat called Claude who sits on the front counter to greet you - I love him. there are lots of pics of their dogs etc They love BARF diet Also happy to fit you in on the day - never an issue Or if you pop by they don't mind a hello and for you to weigh your dog. Big recommendation Have used Palmwoods vet and Rigby st nambour vets as well - no problems just not as friendly or accommodating
ShesaLikeableBiBear
Yes, that's the one, it still has a grooming Salon above the surgery, Doggy Day Spa. Am sorry I don't know Geeta's surname. There are other vets in the practice but Mum has always gone to Geeta. PS The grooming salon is now run by a vet nurse who used to work at the clinic. Mimi (Mum's poodle) goes there. Edited November 30, 2009 by Hesapandabear

I saw a visiting specialist there. Another great one that I LOVE is North Coast Vets, 431 Tanawha tourist drive, (right near the deer farm thingy) Tanawha. ph 5453 7555 www.NCVS.NET.AU [email protected] They also have a brown burmese little girl who patrols the surgery and is really lovely!! plus several other animals around. They are wonderful. Of course, just because Richard is cuter than George Clooney (HONESTLY!) doesn't colour my opinion :D They are super top of the range, every tech thing invented, spotless, and bloody clever! DogNerd
Haha my mother might like the idea of that one, with the George Clooney lookalike! I'm not a very confident highway driver yet, so travelling to Nambour might be a bit of a problem :nahnah:. Tilly has an ear infection at the moment and we went and saw a vet but we weren't very impressed, so if her infection doesn't clear up with this medicine we were going to try another. The Buderim vet might be the go as that's not too far away, I'll also keep North Coast Vets in mind too. I really appreciate the help
Monah
Pippin, Mike SHipstone, a specialist with ears and dermatology, visits the Nambour vets about once a month or so. He is fantastic!! I completely understand about the driving. I LOATHE the Bruce Highway
