I am going to ask for books on dog training for christmas and wondered which you would recomend (for a blonde :D )!

I have just started clicker training with my pup and do dogsports with kelpies so anything relating to these areas would be helpful!

Thanks

Karen Pryor's new book Reaching The Animal Mind is priceless - I would say if you can only get one book get this

If you can still get it the Idiot's Guide To Positive Training is also an excellent book

If you are interested in agility Clean Run magazine is great

Hmm, what did I buy...?

Jump cups, that book you recommended (Shaping Success), a subscription to the magazine, some cuz toys, some spare clickers...

OH then pointed out to me that we have some bills waiting and a car that needs new tyres.

None of which is half so much fun now, is it?

That's what Brian Fielder said to me at our first attempt at CCD. Great dog (for a poodle) - shame about the handler.

He was so right!

He's going to be my judge in CCD. It'll be my first trial  .
