Rivsky
Interesting that when we try and put our finger on why these rounds were special we each come back to attitude. Now if we could only figure out how to flick the on switch for the "up" attitude before every round I think we'd all be very happy This is mine... It's not brilliant, but it's sentimental for me. It was the last time Jedi and I were in the ring before his allergies hit. It may very well be his last decent appearance in the obedience ring. TerraNik you guys did great, really hope you are able to get those allergies under control and get back out there again
leopuppy04
Here are some rounds that I have found really memorable.. This one is Kinta's first training rounds at 18mths... to see whether or not she was ready for trialling.. this one is Kinta's first round back from pups to see if she was ready to go back to the rings: http://s179.photobucket.com/albums/w287/le...atrainjul09.flv Edited November 20, 2009 by leopuppy04
sas
I have a highly allergic dog, do you guys not use Cortisone when absolutely neccessary? I understand some people are really against Cortisone use but if you can find a Vet who can educate you on the correct dossage level..... Long term use of using a high dose of Cortisone is where problems really start to occur...you can avoid that with research and a good Vet. We go for Cortisone for Quality of life, we use the tablets so we can change the dossage i.e. step it up or step it down.
sas
Cortavance is what they are flogging for feet chewing at the moment.Terranik - heres hoping that you get Jedi sorted so that you can get back into trialling. Cortivance is Cortisone just in a Spray and can only be used short term i.e. 14 days.

Cortavance does not enter the bloodstream, therefore it does not have the potential to create cortisone related complications down the track. Specialist Dermatologists have recently confirmed that you can use it day on-day off indefinitely with none of the ill effects. It also works faster and more effectively because you are applying it onto the source. Sorry. Edited November 20, 2009 by Staff'n'Toller
caffy
LOADS of great work here guys and was awesome to be able to see Ptolomy in action in person and Rubystar so happy you got that round on video of Ruby's, she looked fantastic! Alex and Caffy are just awesome as well and of course seen lots of Ness in person too and they've put some fantastic heelrounds together too, well done everyone For me, my most memorable heeling round for little Riv is from Noarlunga this year I just loved his attitude that day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRllbIbyPOU Great stuff Rivsky!! He's had a cortisone injection once or twice when he was having a super dooper allergic reaction, but I am keeping the regular cortisone treatments as a last resort. I want to try everything else first.

Fingers crossed you can get his health issues sorted and can get back into the ring. Edited November 20, 2009 by Ptolomy

Kinta has a bounce to her step, has a smile on her face and is enjoying every minute. You have done a terrific job with her

Unfortunately he missed the down just before the end - the elbows didn't go on the ground...... Will ask santa for another one just like this Anybody else got a video of some trial work they would like to bottle???? I haven't been abl3e to watch any of your clips , keep getting a 404 error message saying video can't be found.

I know how disturbing it is to see your dog scratch constantly. April used to do that many years ago & luckily I finally found it was a flea allergy & she never had a problem after I discovered Advantage after putting up with it for a couple of years. Prior to that I tried different foods, omega oils on her food & a couple of cortisone shots. From Sept to May each year she would come out in crusty sores & the only thing that would clear them up was a iodine solution, until more appeared. Being only 20 months old I don't know if it's going to be a permanent thing or a seasonal thing. He started just eating his legs (not his paws) about 6 months ago and in the last 2 months it has spread to his belly and between his toes. It has become really bad in the last month. I wish it was something as simple as fleas!!!
