For those that i have been chatting to about Rosie's on again/off again lameness:

I had Rosie looked at today and it turns out I was not imagining things - she was very sore. Neck, and tricep but in particular her shoulder (the supraspinatus). She has been showing more obvious signs the past few weeks, especially after excersize.

So fingers crossed her treatment has put her on the road to recovery, and the next session is just to finish it off!

She is a sore dog tonight and I have had to use a heat pack on her shoulder - she was not sure what to think of that, but loved the cuddle on the couch (not normally allowed on the couch!!) .

Pleased to know I was not imagining things and also pleased (so far) that it was not a joint.

so sorry about Rosie am glad you have got to the bottom of it, get well soon Rosie we we missed you tonight xx

Good news that you have worked out what the matter is and fingers crossed you get to the bottom of it soon RosieFT. Kenz had another trip to a different specialist last Friday and he was almost 100% certain she has biceps tendonitis. Given rest hasn't worked and in an attempt to avoid surgery we are trying a PRP injection.

It effectively involves taking a blood sample, harvesting platelets and reinjecting it back into the tendon. If this fails then she is going to need surgery but I would rather not go down that path without exhausting all other possibilities first.

Glad Rosie is on the mend :) and Ness that sounds like a very interesting procedure when are you having it done??

Good news here, haven't seen Gibbs limp since Saturday so pretty happy, he is sometimes a little stiff for 2 or 3 steps after his naps in the evenings but I'm glad he has improved, hope it stays this way

Great news RosieFT :) what treatment did she get?

RS great you found a shampoo that works :) I love when that happens.

Things are a bit tense here at the moment... Ari hasn't been well and I thought the worst being Pyometra. She had an ultrasound and nothing showed up but if she doesn't improve in the next 24 hours, it'll be a blood test to see what's going on. It's very hard seeing my very active and always healthy girl so down. Please everyone keep your fingers crossed she is ok...

My poor little Sugar Plum  Hope that's the last of her problems, and glad she found something. Trixie missed her mate last night.

Does anyone know if you can get shampoo bought in from overseas, or will it be confiscated by quarantine?

So we really should get our ET training underway then! Thought you were doing it with Trixie, though?

I want it for Ruby as she hops and picks her feet up when we walk on the road and gravel, such a princess  But might do ET with Millie.
