mirawee
Brilliant news WX MG, I know how you feel at the moment. Luckily I have accounts at my vets due to the horses so I can just go whenever needed and pay it off. I am currently looking for a rock to crawl under I don't know what has happened in the last 2 days. Got home yesterday to one yearling lame in his hind leg from a small cut near his heel, then most of you know I had to put down the other yearling last night after she broke her fetlock kicking through a shelter wall My arab mare has 2 swollen back legs and was walking gingerly (but bute fixed the walking issues and vet said to just leave her atm). Varda had a grass seed in her ear, took her to vets, left her at home while I went out to treat yearling with small cut, got back and she is now walking on three legs with no obvious signs of why! Removed a couple of grass seeds around her foot (but not deep enough I would have thought would bother her) and am now ignoring her hoping that she will forget she was lame. Anyone got a rock they can offer me? Or maybe even a deep dark cave?

CrazyCresties
Oh mirawee poor you, what a crappy couple of days so sorry to hear about your yearling Great news WX :D (although you may have to explain it in plain english for me as I have no clue about registrations etc )
mirawee
Thanks guys - have pinpointed Varda's issue to her hock so will see what she is like when I get home from work then book her into the vet on Thurs for X-rays if needed. CC, some countries don't require dogs to have a breeder's prefix in front of their name for registration purposes and before the change in regulations these dogs could not be registered in Australia I am assuming this is common with the Xolos in Mexico which meant they couldn't be imported directly from the country of origin but that has now changed Correct me if I am wrong WX :D Edited November 22, 2011 by mirawee

Mason_Gibbs
I have no idea CC. Its good news that its not OCD elboew dysplasia etc but its also frustrating. Ortho specialist dorsnt think its coming from the toe which is what my vet thought... Will have to just wait as i dont have $1800 for the MRI that was suggested before. Might take him to Steve at Applecross in a few weeks if no better once i have something back from Petplan they are owing me just under $1500 which i could use!
