Halloween is coming zac is getting in practice here he is being a vampire lol

 Brilliant face!

Had a email from a friend back in the UK who gave a home to our two other cats when we left.....things aren't working out between them and her existing cat :( Apparently they are ganging up on him and he's sleeping outside and losing weight, and with winter coming she doesn't want him to feel like he can't come into the house. She says she doesn't know what to do next.

It's such a shame as it's the perfect place for them, in a really quiet village away from any roads, loads of space around them and her kids love them, but I can't expect her to keep them if her original cat is suffering :( I'll speak to her tomorrow, but I feel so bad as I can't bear the thought of them going into a cats home

I'll speak to my parents and see if they are interested - they lost their cat to old age a couple of years ago, but the trouble is I think they are enjoying having no ties now. Maybe my friend could find another good home for them in the village :(

Sorry lots of sad faces, but I hate being so far away from them and feel rather helpless.

Gibbs is home ( with tooth still intact) its not an abcess there is no infection ( norhing showed up on xray and no infection came out when they stuck a needle in to draw some fluid out). He is on pain meds and antibiotics and will go back on monday for a check up. If the tooth needs to come out at a later stage a dental vet will take it out as it will involve burring away some of the jaw bone to ensure they get the whole root.

Thanks guys - things will be clearer once I've spoken to her.

I still don't know what happened to Lincon :(:(

:grouphug:

Glad to hear he is back home now :D Was he just being a big sooky baby  Sounds like he is part greyhound - if they even so much as stub a toe you would think they are being torn limb from limb

eta - you got in before me MG - Awww poor Gibbs :( sorry didn't mean to make light of it :) No we wouldn't bring them over for the same reasons we didn't bring them over to start with - they are outdoor cats and big hunters of rodents, which isn't a problem in the UK, but understandably outside hunting cats are not tolerated well over here.

Sorry about your cats CC I hope you can sort something out for them.

RV - I didn't know that you have lost touch with Lincoln's whereabouts.??

Mason - poor Gibbs. When my daughter was 2, she tripped and fell in a furniture shop and landed mouth first on a bedside table, taking off half her front tooth. The dentist was most concerned, not with the bottom of the tooth, but with the top. It is the impact on the gum that can cause the most problems. Hope the Ab's work for him and that is the end of it!
