Tiggy
Well looks good for training tonight - hopefully J and M have done some work with the girls too so they aren't completely feral! I hope Bear doesn't embarrass me too much! :D

Wazzat Xolo
Well done again WX Did Makaela take her Sheltie as well? If so how did he do? I can't believe they only had 3 Shelties entered - so very different from Perth! Yes Mak did well BUT I dont like to steal OTHERS thunder!! Mak was Aus bred in Group, and of course Nacas handler WA had a great time, and was very sucessfull, but then again the BIS and RUBIS were exceptional dogs and just lovely to watch! Guest RosieFT
When are you actually due Emery? I was due on sunday so now its a waiting game Wow that went fast.. well for me! You might be a *tad* over it at this stage. Wishing you a speedy, pain free as possible labour and birth of a healthy baby :-) I feel so shattered today. ugh. Need to get some energy for training. Rosie will be a fruit loop after the holidays and i feel like a zombie. Kids first day back at school and i had my orientation day at tafe... hmm wasn't *quite* how i remembered "O Day" from my uni years LOL

RubyStar
Puppy comes home next Tuesday! Question because I've totally forgotten.... what age are pups to get their last puppy vacc?
Mason_Gibbs
RS i have been told 16 weeks. Not quite sure what to do with my pup , he will need vaccinating at 12 weeks and then after that i was going to take him to pup class at club but heaps of people dont wait and just take pup before the 12 week shot, im a bit rrluctant to do this. Thoughts??? I certainly dont want to wait for the 16 week injection to take him as per me vets instructions as by then he has missed out on crucial socialising
pie
When are you actually due Emery? I was due on sunday so now its a waiting game Wow that went fast.. well for me! That's what I was thinking! How exciting Emery!! Puppy comes home next Tuesday! Question because I've totally forgotten.... what age are pups to get their last puppy vacc? Squeeee puppy! A little mini one too! Depends on when they had their first vac and the regime the breeder uses but pretty sure both of mine had their last one at 10 weeks, but I'm not 100%, I have memory issues ETA: Actually it may have been 12, but mine didn't get the 16 week shots which I believe are optional? Off to check when it was.. Edited July 26, 2011 by amypie
Mason_Gibbs
Another thing if i continue to walk mason and leave pup at home until after 12 week jabs i have heard i may as well take pup with as mason will carry stuff home and infect pup anyway?? pie
Kyzer had C4 vacc's at 6 weeks and then 11 weeks, Trixie would have been very similar, but I opted for a C3 for her. MM, personally I would risk it and carry the pup everywhere, shops, schools, etc (harder with a lab than a small terrier though ) but it's personal choice, you have to decide if you think the risks are worth it, I would avoid any 'dog' areas though like dog parks or K9 etc and also places where dogs would probably go to the toilet. It might not be such an issue with a naturally social breed like a Lab though, other lab people are probably better to give advice on that? Yeah but if I don't ask you I won't find out at all :p My guys get C3 at 7-8 weeks then C5 at 11-12 weeks and 15-16 weeks. If they only get C3 at 11-12 weeks then they don't need the 16 week vax. I take them out to safe places from when I get them and consider them "fully vaccinated" from the second one - well 10 days after
Guest RosieFT
ugh. Have a horrid headache... will take some drugs and hopefully see you guys at training. Otherwise i am piking.
OSoSwift
Mine get their last at 12 weeks this includes a C4 plus the BB up the nose. Very well done Wazzat - Naca looked fantastic, so healthy and fit and looking a million dollars. You guys definately deserved your wins. Emery, I can sympathise I went a week over and was carrying a rather large little munchkin. Good luck with your "whelping" and hope goes as smoothly as it can for you
